Illustrated by Yukiko Baba, who made her debut with Neo Discovery, is still going strong, producing incredible artwork for Pokemon TCG. Her style has evolved over time to include more detailed backgrounds. The Pokemon in her artwork are generally in their natural habitat creating an outdoorsy vibe.

Released in 2002 as one of the e-reader card sets. Thesis set was released in Japan in March and in English later that year, in September. This set features Pokemon from the first two generations, especially some of the starters like Charizard, Blastoise, and more.
