Illustrated by Ryo Ueda. Another truly prolific artist in the Pokemon TCG world. Credited with hundreds of illustrations, they’re a 3D artist who started with Pokemon in 2003. Responsible for illustrating the LV.X Pokemon, gold etched secret cards, and many item/trainer related cards later in their career.

This set celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Pokemon in the XY era. Similar to other non-promo anniversary sets, the majority of the cards are reprints or redux or popular cards from the past. Released in November 2016, Evolutions includes a reprinted base Charizard, Flying Pikachu, and Pikachu.
