Illustrated by Kouki Saitou who had started contributing to Pokemon in 2002. With initial work for the Aquapolis set, he is now one of the most prolific artists in all of Pokemon TCG. Saitou is credited with art for over 700 cards, incorporating a style that closely aligns to what might appear within the anime. Pokemon are usually front and center in the art, with a fairly up close perspective.
