Japanese CGC 10 EX Battle Boost 1st Edition Common Magikarp 022

Illustrated by the longtime Pokemon artist Midori Harada. She has created over 300 illustrations for Pokemon TCG over her tenure starting in 2002. Her style is generally light, and calming with lush backgrounds.

Released in Japan as EX Battle Boost in 2013. This Black & White set has no English equivalent. This set reprinted cards from earlier sets in Black & White that were ex-Pokemon. All of the regular Pokemon, and trainers/items in this set are non-holo.  

Please note this slab is considered a CGC GEM Mint 10 after CGC’s adjustments to their grading scale. Any card that is a 9.5 in the old blue label can be “reholdered” (for a fee) in the new label as a CGC 10. 

This card is Pop 2, with none in a higher grade, and it is one of a kind in the blue, matching label!
