Japanese CGC 10 Pokémon GO Ultra Rare Mewtwo VSTAR 031

Pokemon Go was released in Japan on June 16th, 2022, and July 1st in English. Bringing themes, items and more from the beloved mobile game by the same name, this set includes lovely rainbow art rares!

Illustrated by PLANETA Mochizuki who is a more recent contributor having made their debut in the Sword & Shield era. They work for a company called PLANETA, hence the, you know, PLANETA. With tons of versatility, they’ve created over 150 cards since starting in July 2020. Many of their full arts have bold lines using some of the Pokemon’s primary colors. Their work appears to be mostly CG based. 

Please note this slab is considered a CGC GEM Mint 10 after CGC’s adjustments to their grading scale. Any card that is a 9.5 in the old blue label can be “reholdered” (for a fee) in the new label as a CGC 10.
