Illustrated by Shin Nagasawa. Shin has created over 300 cards for Pokemon, with their artwork having a noticeable pattern of showing Pokemon in action or in motion. Starting in summer of 2009, they have captured awesome ideas of Pokemon attacking in their many creations. Similar to other artists, his work has become increasingly detailed with both the Pokemon, and the backgrounds he creates.

Released in late 2020 as the High Class set of the year in Japan, Shiny Star V brings shiny Pokemon front, and center from the Sword and Shield era. This set has over 120 shiny Pokemon throughout this fairly large set. The English equivalent is Shining Fates!
