Japanese CGC 9 Rulers of the Heavens Holo Rare ex Magcargo ex 009

Illustrated by Hikaru Koike. This vintage artist created around 50 cards, with the majority being released in the EX era. Many of their cards mirror similar vintage artists where vague, complementing backgrounds surround a Pokemon who is drawn in fairly high detail. Many of Koike’s cards use shadow to help create a better sense of depth of the Pokemon.

Released in 2003 without any English equivalent, this Japanese set features 54 cards, and a majority of Pokemon from Ruby & Sapphire. Many initial ex Pokemon appeared in this set including Dragonite, Rayquaza, Magcargo, and Ampharos.

Pop 6 at time of posting, with only 4 in a higher grade.
