Japanese CGC Perfect 10 VMAX Climax Holo Rare Charizard 17

Illustrated by NC Empire, with a debut in 2020 featuring a promo, and later that year creating multiple arts for Darkness Ablaze, they have a varied artistic style that ranges from using only a handful of colors, to more comic-style, or even more true to the anime. They tend to favor illustrating Pokemon opposed to Trainers, and initially had a few cards in the sets they contributed to but now usually add a single card or promo per set.

Released as the High Class set in Japan in December 2021. Featuring a wide variety of Pokemon, trainers, and a combination of both, this large set from the Sword and Shield era has something for everybody. With chases like Umbreon, Rayquaza, and Mimikyu cards, you can’t go wrong with VMAX Climax. 

Rarer still than the OG CGC Blue label are the CGC Perfects! These are cards, with subgrades, that scored perfectly across the board, and were scored this way prior to CGC adjusting the strictness of their grading to be closer to PSA.

Only about 2% of these Charizards got a Perfect score.
